Chalcedony with Goethite – rough – 96 grams
This unique rough piece of chalcedony with goethite from Morocco weighs approximately 96 grams and measures about 7 x 5.5 x 3.5 cm. The specimen consists of a dark brown goethite matrix on which light gray to transparent chalcedony crystals have grown. The crystals form compact clusters with a beautiful vitreous luster and clearly visible crystal faces. A beautiful natural contrast emerges between the white chalcedony and the darker crystal growth, while the raw matrix clearly reveals the mineral’s geological origin. The combination of different crystal shapes and textures makes this an attractive specimen for both collectors and enthusiasts of natural minerals.
