“Ik ben kruidiger qua geur dan mijn zus Lavendel”
Latin name: Lavandula hybrida super
Country of origin: France
Winning: Steam distillation of the flowering buds
Lavandin is a hybrid variety of lavender—a crossbreed that yields more oil than true lavender. Its scent is spicier and fresher, with a hint of rosemary. It’s ideal for those who find the classic lavender scent too heavy. Lavandin has properties similar to those of Lavandula angustifolia.
View of Humanity
For the Lavender type as well, the belief “I’m not good enough” lies at the root. Often stemming from high expectations during childhood, this feeling continues to influence adult life. Shame, guilt, and insecurity dominate their self-image. Lavendin helps them let go of the past, develop self-love, and live freely again—both in thought and in feeling.
Mental
Lavandin oil has a relaxing, harmonizing, and purifying effect. It has a positive influence on the nervous system, dispels negative thoughts, and promotes inner peace. Thanks to its fresh scent, it is also clarifying and uplifting. Lavandin is particularly effective for tension, stress, and sleep problems.
Spiritual
Lavandin brings balance to your energy. It connects the third chakra (solar plexus) with the crown chakra and helps calm emotions and receive spiritual insights. Lavandin is a wonderful companion for meditation and visualization. It connects you with your higher self through calmness and trust.
Affirmation: I am healthy, whole, and complete. I am calm, relaxed, and I take a deep breath, knowing that everything is fine.
Physical
Lavandin oil is versatile: it supports healthy skin, promotes restful sleep, and helps relieve muscle pain and tension. Thanks to its antiseptic properties, it’s also suitable for skincare. Before bedtime, mix 100 ml of carrier oil (such as grapeseed oil) with 50 drops of lavandin. Rub this mixture onto your body and take a warm shower—it’s wonderfully soothing.
Lavandin also enhances the effects of other oils thanks to its synergistic properties.
